WHAT WE BELIEVE

Christian Resource Ministries is a kingdom addicted community and not a denomination. Yet we have a charismatic style in worship and service and believe the whole counsel of God.

We believe in One God, eternally existent in the persons of the Godhead. God the father, God the son, God the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7; Deut. 6:4, Matt. 28:19).

We believe that the Bible is verbally inspired word of God to man (2 Tim. 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21).

We believe in salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:12, Acts 16:31, Eph. 2:8-9, Rom. 10:9-10).

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His miracles and sinless life, His glorious resurrection and soon return (Matt. 1:23, Heb. 7:24-26, Phil.2:9-11, 1 Cor. 15:3- 4).

We believe that water baptism by immersion is commanded in scripture as an outward sign of an inwardwork in the believer (Matt. 28:19, Acts 10:47-48, Rom. 6:4)

We believe that the Lord’s supper (Holy Communion) is a symbol of our union with Christ, a memorial of his death and prophecy of his second coming (Matt. 26:26-28, 1 Cor. 11:23-34, 2 Peter 1:4).

We believe that physical healing was provided for in the atonement of Christ and that divine healing is available through the prayer of faith for all (Jas. 5:14- 16, 1 Peter 2:24, 3 Jn. 2).

We believe that the church is an agency of the kingdom. Every believer should become an active member thus contributing to its mission through skills, money and time and other resources (Eph. 1:22-23, Mal. 3:10, 1 Cor. 12).

We believe in the Holy Spirit baptism as subsequent to and distinct from the new birth (Acts 1:4-8, Lk. 24:48-49, Jn. 14:26).

We believe in the equipping ministries of the apostle, prophets, evangelist, pastor and teacher, and the foundational principles of kingdom government (Eph. 4:11-15, 2:20, 1 Cor. 12:28, 2 Tim. 1:1-7).

We believe in sanctification, an act of separation from all that defiles flesh and spirit, and complete dedication to God and his will (Rom. 12:1- 2, 6:1-11, Heb. 12:14, 1 Thess. 5:28).

We believe in the bodily resurrection of believers, the millennial reign of Christ, the judgment of the wicked, and the new heaven and the new Earth (Zech. 14:5, 1 Cor. 15:51-52, Rev. 1:2, 19:11-14, 20:1-15, 21:22).
