Bishop James Sumo & Pastor Kineth Sirleaf Payne

Bishop James Sumo Payne is the fifth of sixth children (four boys and two girls) of the union Mr. and Mrs. James Sumo Payne Sr. His parents were natives of Liberia whose migration from hinterland to urban areas was in search for greener pasture. They lived many years with some elites in Monrovia as house servants. However, being reminded daily of quest for better living through education, his parents fortitude resulted into upgrade of livelihood.

Wherefore, lifetime virtues were imparted through diverse training to both biological and non- biological children of Mr. and Mrs. James S. Payne, Sr. Self-esteem, integrity and right attitude as taught and lived out by them are cardinal to the fulfillment of God purpose in the life of their son Bishop Payne. Though he attended public and private academic institutions, he was cognizant that success starts from home life and give family devotion to God foremost priority. Bishop James Sumo Payne spiritual birth took place in November of 1989 at the brink of the Liberia civil crisis and he was subsequently licensed and ordained in February 1996 and March 1999 respectively. Since, he has served the Lord in different capacities from April 1994 up to present including Vision Caster First Executive Director Of Wilderness Youth Ministries, Church PlanterFirst Senior Pastor Of Love Center Christian Fellowship New Kru Town branch.

Others are Assistant Pastorat Love Center Christian Fellowship Central Church; teacher at Global Revival Outreach center, member disciple global 12 project Liberia, Secretary General of Kingdom Life Pastoral Fellowship Liberia, vice president prayer trust Liberia, executive board member at on the mark pastoral fellowship Liberia chapter, founder-Director Improved School of Leaders, Jurisdictional Bishop Elect Kingdom Covenant International Christian Fellowship, Jurisdictional Bishop affirmed and consecrated.

His mentors in ministries have been Rev. Albert Nebo (Love Center Christian Fellowship Liberia), the late Rev. Jonathan Frank (Global Revival Outreach Ministries)ProphetSamuelAkinbodunse (Freedomfor All Nations – South Africa.), Bishop John Smith (Bible Way Church of George Town – USA), Bishop Ramone A. Johnson (Kingdom Covenant International Christian Fellowship – USA).

Furthermore, his development in service to the Lordship of Jesus Christ had led him to academic and specialized trainings both in Liberia and abroad. Bishop James Sumo Payne is married to Pastor Mrs. Kineth Sirleaf Payne and blessed with children.
